Are these real, bookable prices?

Yes. The fare search and every “lowest fare” link on this site open live prices and availability from the cruise lines, through the Cruise.com booking engine. Prices change constantly, so what you see is today’s fare.

Is it cheaper to book with you than with the cruise line?

Cruise fares are set by the cruise lines, so the base price is usually the same everywhere. The savings come from knowing which promotion, discount and cabin to choose, catching price drops, and adding perks. Our cruise advisors do that for you at no extra cost.

Can you find discounts I qualify for?

Tell us your age, state of residence, military service and past cruise lines on the quote form. Our cruise advisors check senior, resident, military and past-guest rates on every sailing that fits.

When is the cheapest time to cruise?

Outside school holidays: for the Caribbean, late August to early December (except Thanksgiving) and January after New Year; for Alaska, May and September; for Europe, April–May and October.

What is the cheapest cabin?

An inside cabin, and below that a “guarantee” inside cabin where the line assigns the cabin number. Upgrades are possible but never promised.

Do cruise prices go down after I book?

They can. Before final payment, many lines will adjust your fare or give onboard credit if the price drops on the same cabin category. After final payment, fares are generally locked.

What do the cheapest fares leave out?

Usually gratuities (around $16–$20 per person per day on mainstream lines), drinks, Wi-Fi, specialty dining, excursions, and travel to the port. Always compare the total.

Who will handle my booking?

Online bookings are made through the Cruise.com booking engine. Quote requests go to our cruise advisors at Mister Cruise, who book and look after your cruise from start to finish.

Can I combine cruise discounts?

Sometimes. Many lines let you combine a promotion with a past-guest or loyalty benefit, but special rates such as senior, resident or military fares usually replace the standard promotion rather than add to it. Our cruise advisors price each option and show you which is lower.

Are last-minute cruises always cheaper?

No. Popular sailings — holidays, school breaks, new ships — can sell out or rise in price. Last-minute fares are best for flexible travelers on mainstream lines and itineraries with plenty of sailings.
